Microphone Preamps
Q: What's the function of the mic preamp "Loading" switch?

Q: Does the mic preamp "Impedance" switch make any difference in the sound?

Q: What does the mic preamp "Patch" jack do?

A:  The mic preamp Patch jack allows you to route the signal from the first amplifier stages into an external device, like an equalizer or a compressor, then return the signal back into the mic preamp’s output stage. The advantage of this is that you can use a wide variety of different input-level equipment (like –10dBv unbalanced) in your signal chain and still get the benefits the NV Series output offers (like Class-A, transformer-balanced operation).
   Q: What is the status of the MP-2, MP-2M, MP-2MH, MP-4, MP-4M & MP-4MH?

Q: How much current does the MP-500NV need from a rack?
